How did God speak to you through the December 12, 2010 "Special Testimonies"?

Many members testified to God's goodness and grace in their personal lives as well as in the life of our church, including Tom Fon, Terry Bowman, Rose, Hank Din, Stan Spencer, Eddie Silva, Ted Fong, Gon Chan, Grace Fong, Mei Fong, Mary Yee, Molly Chow-Parker, and Jan Bowman.

I truly enjoyed the testimonies of all who shared. Tom Fong started things off, sharing of the amazing spiritual heritage he came from and what a blessing it has been to him being brought up in the Chinese Community Church family. His testimony really resonated with me. I feel very blessed to have been raised in this church family. My years in church school and youth group helped build a foundation that was strengthened while away in college, medical school, residency, and continues here at CCC after moving back with my family 9 years ago. I hope my children find this to be similarly true. This also made me think of Steve Green’s song, Find Us Faithful. I have attached the YouTube link as well as the lyrics. This is one of my personal prayers for both my family and our church.

We're pilgrims on the journey
Of the narrow road
And those who've gone before us line the way
Cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary
Their lives a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace

Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses
Let us run the race not only for the prize
But as those who've gone before us
