How did God speak to you through Pastor Louis' 12/20/09 message entitled, "The Greatest of All Gifts!"?

The Greatest Of All Gifts! (12/20/09) 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) *Why is God's gift the greatest of all gifts?* I. The _________________ of God's gift. How much do we spend for gifts we give to others? For me, key term is "retail value!" But why such a high cost involved? II. The ________________________________ of God's gift How many of us cannot remember all the gifts we received last Christmas? Remember even just one gift we received for Christmas a few years ago? But God's gift has eternal consequences - "Should not perish, but have everlasting life." God's gift provides both deliverance _______________ something terrible _____________ something terrific! III. The _______________________ or motive of God's gift. Why do we "give" gifts? IV. The simple _______________________________ of God's gift, as with all gifts. Not to earn or deserve God's gift. " 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:8-10) But to experience benefits of God's gift as with any gift, we must *personally receive* it! How? "Whosoever believes" Believes what? According to 1 Corinthians 15:1-5, the gospel ("good news") is that Jesus Christ is God's Son, He died for our sin and rose from the dead!
