Apologetics (Part 2) - Why Is Jesus The Only Way? I. Why is Christ the ___________________ Way? A. The claims of Jesus Himself. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except me.” (John 14:6) Christ is the only great leader of any major religion who claimed to be ______________ with God (John 10:30-33). B. The unique nature of the Christian faith. Christianity is the only major religion that teaches that God’s love and grace sent His Son to die in our place to pay the penalty for all our sin (Romans 5:8). Other religions teach salvation by doing good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). C. A simple logical question. If there were any other way to heaven, why would Jesus have to suffer such a terrible death? II. Unbelievers will be drawn to Christ by what they __________, not just what they hear. “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) “I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” (John 17:23)

Christianity is the only major religion that teaches that God’s love and grace sent His Son to die in our place to pay the penalty for all our sin (Romans 5:8).
