B. We are encouraged and comforted by our awesome God.

4 When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. God is truly awesome, but sometimes we forget or don't appreciate this. Pastor Louis recounted how our awesome God led him to come to our church. Many seemingly independent circumstances both in Pastor Louis' life and the life or our church, as well as personal relationships, were brought together to by our awesome God. Ultimately this resulted in Pastor Louis coming to CCC, initially as an interim pastor and eventually our permanent pastor. We all most certainly have personal examples of how God has done some amazing things on our behalf. Unfortunately, our spiritual memory for these things often fades too fast.

How can we increase our appreciation for our awesome God? Pastor Louis shared he journals on his computer and encouraged each of us to do so. One other way you can journal is by participating in our website forums and blogs. When you contribute a comment on how God spoke to you through a sermon or worship service, you are journaling. Your entries will declare how God is moving in your life and the life of this church. This will also be a testimony to others about the reality and awesomeness of our God.

So, please contribute to our church website. In this way, you will declare His awesome works and testify to His importance in your life.
