Today was the first public performance of the Ukulele Fellowship. It was at a luncheon for seniors at Fremont Presbyterian Church (near Sac State).  Everyone had a great time. We were truly blessed.

We got the gig, because one of the church members heard about us from our Ukulele in the Park event.  The Ukulele Fellowship combined forces with the Hula Gals Hawaiian dancers, and put on a 45-minute music and dance show for 75+ enthralled seniors.

10 ukesters in all showed up: Carol, Willie, Lois, Mary Anne, George, Jane, Randy, Robbie, Joe, and Ted. The Hula Gals was lead by Shirley Stassi and our own Molly Chow Parker was on their team.  Oh man, can these ladies dance!!!

If you want to join our group, we meet every 1st and 3rd of the month at 9 AM.

It was a lot of fun. One audience member told us that she thought the entertainment was better than any she heard while in Hawaii. Too sweet!
