Today's worship was another good one. This worship set was led by Larry Lee, who wove a story comparing life to a roller coaster ride. He reminded us that through all life's up's and down's, we can rest assured God, the designer, is always in control. Don Werkoven then gave a great sermon on the parable of the Prodigal Son and ended with the reminder that God is always waiting for us with open arms to welcome us back from our wanderings, no matter how far away we may roam. The worship team, sensitive to the message and the Spirit's leading, then switched gears and led the church in hymn 326, Softly and Tenderly, droving this message home. It was perfect. Our worship team led us in another great worship service. We are truly blessed we have so many talented musicians and worship leaders who are able to drive God's message home to us through music. Many thanks to all involved in the worship ministry.
